  • Appearance - has quite a deep garnet colour with red hues. Light-med bodied with lots of legs. Acidity looks med+
Nose - after short decant, the aromas are very perfumed. Notes of violets, red fruits, forest floor. I could smell this all day, it gets more intense the longer you leave it out
Palate - that first sip gave me a wow moment. So this is what good Burgundy Pinot tastes like. It was very quintessential red fruits, red raspberries, soured cherries, some subtle forest floor in the background that is well balanced with the fruits. The tannins are so plush and mellowed without being too stringent. Acidity was abundant and lead to a long finish. The aftertaste of the flavours still lingered well after a sip. This is one very elegant wine that is drinking well now and has many years to come.

A perfect wine for a social gathering
