Utterly intoxicating nose - filled with layers of fruits and solvents. Adding some 2016 and 2017 to the cellar shortly, I hope they’ll deliver similar pleasure.

Incredibly dark purple colour. Lovely full mature fruit nose, invites you back to inhale again and again. Complex and well balanced, with solid structure and definite ageing potential. An initial pleasant hint of sweetness gives way to luscious fruits, liquorice and just a hint of - again pleasant - bitterness, then a long but very enjoyable drying tannin. Impressive stuff, another lovely 2015 Rhône to hold and enjoy for a few years.

Mellowing out - it has an overall softer feel with a sweet cassis and herby flavour profile now.

The long drying nature of the tannin alongside lush fruit is particularly enjoyable in this one.
Very enjoyable now and looking forward to seeing how this develops.
