  Tasted during Bottles & Bottles Brand Showcase 2023 with more than 120 wines for tasting. Only managed to taste 86 wines over 4 hours and I don’t have enough time to write tasting notes. Only my own personal rating.

  Sample from friends New Ubin lunch. Drank in Conterno Sensory.
  Apparently was very bretty at lunch. Much less so by the time I tasted this.
  Appearance is clear, deep intensity, purple colour. Legs.
  Nose pronounced intensity, with aromas of dark brooding animal, big black fruits - blackberries mainly. Then coffeebean and roasted meat. Developing.
  On the palate, dry, high acidity, high alcohol, high tannins, full body. Medium+ flavour intensity, with flavours of black pepper sice, blackberries, black cherries, black plums, coffeebean, roasted ark meat, savoury dark earth and animal. Long finish.
  Very good quality. This wine is quite the beast now. Will need more age to tame it.
