By the glass at the BA lounge, LHR from a half filled bottle. A quite fatty, oaky and round expression. On the young side with quite a bit of puppy fat for now but great for those looking for a bit more buttery expression of C-M. Good on the palate maybe a bit too polished but very good 89-90

Visiting London, Galway, Dublin and Paris; 9/14/2019-9/29/2019 (England, Ireland and France): This village-level Chassagne-Montrachet serves up an aromatic array of pit fruits, tangerine, lemon verbena and wet stones. Light-to-medium-bodied, freshly acidic and with nicely woven alcohol (13.5%), it delivers flavors mirroring the nose, enhanced with a complementary dose of spicy oak. With good mid-palate density and a medium-length finish, this is a delightful Chardonnay that should be enjoyable for several more years. Drink now-2024.

Quite a broad style of Chardonnay. Old world fruit but new world structure.
Tasty and rich. Not as precise as hoped, and slightly lower acid!
Drink now
