  Lovely dark fruit, plenty of layers of flavour and subtle tannins, approachable now but no rush

  Pretty nose - dark fruit, some violet, Palate is deep, sweet dark black beet and blueberry. Violets - def a bit modern but still excellent.

  Xavier Gerard and Will Arnold (Noizé, London): Dense, dark ruby. Crème de mûre. Denser and darker. On the palate too. Just a fine lick of tannin providing an obvious structural edge. Dense and polished behind the tannins. Rounded. ****
