Lots of cherry on the palate with minor supporting notes of brown sugar, spice and earthiness. Continues to be one of my go-tos for salmon. Nice long, extended finished. Served about 45 minutes after opening.

A nose of dark cherry and spice, dark garnet in color. A medium to full bodied red, with black cherry, raspberry, dust and Asian spice on long finish. Was very good, short decant. www.winelx.com

Served with Dijon, honey, pecan salmon. Had 3 pinots over the course of dinner with friends: 2014 Brewer& Clifton 3D, and 2011 Martinelli Three Sisters and the 2016 Ridgetop. The Ridgetop was by far the biggest, most fruit forward and structured of the 3. The other two had more earthiness and complexity. Hard to pick a favorite as each was so different.

Same on Pnp or poured through aerator. Nice, but basic, Pinot with good red fruit with a hint of cherry which seemed a little tart. Mid-palate seemed flat.

Terribly disappointed with this wine. Had a rubber tubing after taste that did not blow off. Maybe it was slightly corked?
