Golden yellow. Yeah, this is ready. Honey flavours with botrytized spicy notes (hey, it’s a Sauternes, what did we expect….). The palate is smooth with a enough acidity to balance the high level of sugar. This is whether overly complex, nor is it flat. Just a nice matured Sauternes which is ready to drink without any hurry.

Second Sunday Group: 1989 Bordeaux (MiY's): Standard bottle. Peach and honeyed stone fruit notes. On the lighter side in terms of its weight on the palate, but has nice fruit, mostly tropical in nature. Pineapple and coconut with honey and orange zest undertones.

Good, not spec tacular... little on the nose, plenty of fruit - orange and pineapple... little acidity, short finish
