  Clear deep ruby/garnet with staining legs; clean medium nose of barnyard, green pepper and ripe blackberries; dry; medium plus acidity: medium plus tannins; medium plus alcohol; medium body; medium plus flavour intensity; palate is tarter with addition of red cherries and savoury herbs; medium plus finish; drink now; nice effort - needed some time in the glass to come together; steep price point
