Looked light and opaque in the glass and more resembled a Pinot in color and hue. But this is an enjoyable, accessible wine that delivers well for its price point. A go-to table wine that’s easy to pair and drink. No need to age as I think CC wines are delicious without cellaring.

A friend and I tasted this at the Woodinville tasting room on 1/4/18. It had a light, expressive bouquet of violet, black cherry, mineral and spice aromas. The palate was light and dry with flavors of black cherry, mineral and spice.
