  • A good friend brought this back from Italy for us a couple of years ago and we ended up serving it at an informal gathering for friends, most of whom are not wine aficionados. Wine was very well received when served with small plates of Genoa salami wrapped mozzarella, grilled sweet Italian sausage and prosciutto wrapped provolone. Plenty of acidity, slight baked cherry fruit nuances and ready to drink now or hold for a few years.
