  Opened after consulting with GM at Chappellet. Cork was dry and broke in half but .... the Wine was fantastic. Deep, thick flavors with very fine and well intergrated tannans. If you have one drink it now!

  Lush, concentrated and full bodied Merlot, which has 5% Cabernet Sauvignon and 5% Cabernet Franc blended for added structure. Deep Ruby Red Color, bouquet of plum and black cherry, flavors are just wonderful, including the dark fruit, but also vanilla and nutmeg. Has a tannin backbone, but the tannins are well-integrated with a nice round feel. The French Oak provides some sweet vanilla and spicy oak. Has 14.9% alcohol, but you wouldn't know it from the mouthfeel. Long finish with a nice rich mocha note. . . . Loved it!
