  • Wow what a wine year in year out for $18 you are kidding me. So lovely, so balanced with gorgeous fruit, acid, minimal oak. Paired exceptionally well with Black Cod and Crawfish with lobster sauce and coconut milk broth!!

  • 100% s/s, NO oak whatsoever; Also, per the Importer, "Their 50 acres of vineyards lie predominantly within the commune of Chardonnay – thought to be the geographical origin of the variety – and thus are entitled to use the AOC 'Mâcon-Chardonnay.'"

N: Apples with notes of minerals

P: Med body; RNDISH entry with NICE, almost swtish frt nicely counterbalance by a TANGY acidity which carries through the LONG, tangy/swt (75:25) finish with the earthy swtness only ULT revealing itself. 13% ABV; My VG+, more IF one takes into account the $9.99 I pd for it about a yr prior. Nonetheless, be prepared for a HEAVY dose of acidity [at least for a "typical" CA palate]. As a result, I'd recommend drinking this by mid Winter '19, though it could WELL last a yr+ longer.

N: Apples (Granny Smith), POSS with undertones of flowers & earth

P: Med, poss MF, body; NICE fr BEAUTIFULLY balanced by acidity which slowly evolves into a LONG, tangy finish (after having worked its way through some late mid-P harshness).

  • The wine looks light gold colored. The legs are medium. There is no sediment in the bottle. It smells like pear and lychee. It tastes like lychee, pear, pineapple and mineral.
The body is medium. The wine has round texture. The wine finishes medium. The wine has low acidity.

  • Taste French Wines (San Diego Wine Co.): 100% s/s, NO oak whatsoever; Also, per the Importer, "Their 50 acres of vineyards lie predominantly within the commune of Chardonnay – thought to be the geographical origin of the variety – and thus are entitled to use the AOC 'Mâcon-Chardonnay.'"

N: Green apples with floral undertones

P: Med body; NICE frt met by balancing acidity which morphs into an INTRIGUING ballet between bitterness/swtness over the LONG finish. LOVELY drinking now, & probably through '19, I'm guessing. Moreover, this vendor's $9.99 is SIGNIFICANTLY lower than the only other U.S. retailer listed on wine-searcher! 13% ABV
