This is your quintessential Napa Chardonnay. Voluptuous, fruity, and pleasant with flavors of citrus fruit, spice and ample acidity. Round and flavorful with prominent buttery characters. Solid structure with sugar plus and hold up to food. Long length and pleasant finish. One of fullest and best representatives of warm climate fruity Chardonnay.

We really like the Moone Tsai chardonnay's, but, for several years we have steered away from their Napa version as we prefer their Sonoma version. The Charles Heintz vineyard version tastes much more like a good Burgundy style chardonnay. The Napa version is a bit more buttery like many other california chardonnays. On this bottle, we opened just before our food was served, so we had a bit before food and then with food. Obviously, drinking wine with food is different than without. But, with this Napa chardonnay, especially compared to the Sonoma version, it really helped to drink with food. The food eliminated that slight buttery taste. A real quality california chardonnay.

Fat and delicious! Creamy texture with round texture. Buttery and full bodied.

This bottle seemed somewhat disjointed and over-oaked. Still lots of butter and round fruit.
