Inaugural pinot from Martin's Lane, one of three from 2014 and only one per customer of this particular one. Decanted for three hours along with a cab sauv and a bordeaux, and nearly as dark. Beautiful rich cherry plum and dark berries, full bodied bold and delicious, probably the best BC Pinot Noir I've tasted. Also the most expensive.

Amazing but still grippy Christmas 2021. Give the next bottle a few years.

from a warm site
Dark fruit on the nose but a little subdued
Dark cherries on the palate, concentrated and meaty but not much joy at the moment
