stellar but still way too young. long life ahead of it. medium plus acidity. not jammy at all just get the sensation from the fine tannins on the palate that will calm down with more rest. very much appreciating the restrained use of new oak vs rioja. glad i have a few of these for the long haul

NOTK Spanish Grand Cru tasting (Supernova hotel, Rotterdam): In the line-up of the tasting this wine was clearly the one that needed the most time. Despite decanting for 8 hours it felt very closed, and almost getting more closed during the tasting. Cherries, forest fruit, black fruit. High tannins, long finish. This could be at least 2-3 points higher, but would need 5-8 years more.

A bit jammy and alcoholic if balanced. Blackberry, coffee, burnt toast. Drinks like an everday Toro/Tempranillo and not how I remember drinking Flor or even the cheaper PSI years ago. Scored informally 89/100 as think bottle variation or it was just served too warm at the wine bar we were at.

Very ballanced for a relatively young wine. Very fruit forward albeit in no way jammy. Some milkyness or caramel. Velvet and pleasant. M body
