Nose is fruity with some earthy notes. This followed an Envinate and was pretty big in comparison, though it had good freshness. Reminds me of a Gamay to some extent with some candied fruit notes. Seems like it should age positively over the short or medium term.

Holidays 2018 (Dogwood Grove): Very sophisticated wine with real Ribera style. Rich and dense with a woodsy and loamy character. Notes of currant and tar on the palate with ample acidity making it easy to sip. Flavors of cola, dark chocolate, balsamic.

Big, but floral and crunch to the palate. Significant tannin. Mid plus. 100% Graciano. Not allowed in the DO. Very fresh palate.

Dense. Chocolate and plum aromas. All of the cracks are filled in. Zest and pepper to the palate.
