This is a big wine, tasted against Stags Leap. Oakville is not as fruit forward but has more earth and tannins going on and has a stronger structure. Both are lovely wines and tasting them, even from different vintages against each other was a lot of fun.

dark ruby colored, oak and vanilla notes, cherry notes. Very rich and mouth filling, well balanced smooth, with a touch of acidity at finish. really well made and just plain delicious, a Pine Ridge winner, good QPR.

Excellent Oakville cab. Big dark fruit, best after an hour of air. Easily good for another 5-8 years.
