Pale gold color. Mineral-driven aromatics of quince, slate, lime zest, acacia and white pepper. Crisp lemon and key lime fruit notes with secondary hazelnut & clove spices, white flowers and crunchy mineral notes. Bright, well-integrated acid wrapped in a full broad-grained structure, finishing with dry and crisp fruit and moderate length. Gaining depth and length with air. Very nice.

No formal notes, but this was very nice. Elegant, balanced, clean, pure, almost Burgundian. Some acidity remaining, but plenty enjoyable today. Good value at the $30/bottle CellarTracker valuation, compared with wines from the Sonoma Coast that are twice as expensive.

Willamette Valley Visit - 8/9/17: Aromas of lime zest, limestone, acacia, saline and hazelnut. Strikingly complex and elegant on the palate. Seamless layers, deftly balanced. Medium-plus acid with fine texture. Full and complex finish. Very impressive- favorite chardonnay of the day.

White peach puree, acacia flower, roasted almond, lemon. Silky mouthfeel with a bright acidity and a salty minerality on the finish.

Tasted over three days. Expressive varietal character unmasked by oak. Very good energy and poise. It will last for a few years, but why wait. 89-90.
