Rich full bodied Pinot, tons of fruit from the get-go, but smooth and balanced with nice mineral aspects as well. One of my favorite Pinots from anywhere

Anderson Valley, July 2: Aromas of cedar, baking spice, fig cake. Cherry and fig fruit on the palate, rich and ripe with backing spice and cedar. Fine broad tannins. Full finish.

A great wine that is drinking beautifully. I think these age pretty well so not sure it won’t get better but seems in peak form now.
