  • Produced from the Freisa grape of the Langhe. Dark ruby red color. Nose of black cherry and damson plumb. The flavors follow with a line of effervescence that tingles. Nice acidic backbone and fairly mild tannins. A different and balanced wine. A coup with calamari and heavier fish sauce dishes and chicken dishes.

  • Red fruit with a touch of clove. Mild tannins, plenty of acidity. A little bit of CO2, probably intentional since Freisa is sometimes said to resemble Lambrusco. Tartrate deposit. A unique wine--wish I had opened it when I could go back to the store for more.
