Tasted blind, and I had no clue what this could be. Darker in color, it looked like it was going to be oxidized, but it wasn’t. On its own, the wine was more interesting than enjoyable, but with a sablefish dish, it really shined, and it turned out to be a good pairing for the dish.

Oh que c'est bon! Les quelques années de garde lui on vraiment fait du bien et à 10 degrés c'est parfait comme vin. On a de la menthe, de la roche mouillé, du citron, du miel et de la cire d'abeille. Il est vraiment ouvert actuellement et délicieux.

Similar to white Rioja, well developed, thick yet still energetic. Somewhat salty and waxy, nice with cheese and pies.
