Nice dark color - showing no signs of age. As advertised, all about the sous bois on the nose. Just enough fruit to keep it interesting, but this is more about the soil and earth. Just a tad dry but showing well overall.

As with the last bottle, surprisingly young. It was actually better on day two when the tannins had receded. Just beginning to show a little bricking, and the secondary flavors are starting to come out. In a great place.

Still quite youthful and an overall lovely wine. Only the slightest of bricking; otherwise medium-red. Fantastic nose an equal combination of still-vibrant fruit and various spices (almost Vosne-like). Comes across a little thin on the palate at first, but quickly gains weight as the bottle opens. Picks up a bit of earth over time. Great mouthfeel. Fairly long, pleasant and balanced finish. Easily good for 10 more years, it seems.

Just beginning to show its age with a bit of brownish color. Fairly reserved nose, even on day two. Very round and smooth with little acidity. It had a hint of new world cherry cola, but the flavors were not at all sweet - lots of spice and red fruit. Just a little sharp at the end of day one, with a nice medium finish.
This was at its best on day two, and the sharpness was gone. Nice concentration of flavors w/out being rich or heavy.

I like this quite a bit. Shows a lovely mineral side, with some sou-bois and red fruits. Has a kind of chalky quality that tastes like it is a red wine made by someone who makes white wine.
