Tasted at a Fess Parker winemaker event. Really enjoyed and picked up a few bottles. This was the first bottle opened since. I was expecting some tannins and it needing some air. Instead it was fairly smooth out of the bottle, but the fruit seemed to be lacking. After about 30 minutes, it opened up and the fruit came alive and was an enjoyable bottle. Not sure it's worth the price point though.

Saturated, opaque, purple red violet color; savory, mocha, black plum, toast, black currant nose; toast, black plum, mocha, black currant palate with balancing acidity; could use 3+ years; long finish (56% Cabernet Sauvignon, 44% Syrah; not a compelling blend here, despite the tradition for blending these grapes in parts of Australia and the south of France; 14.9% alcohol; 28 months in French oak, 22% new; long natural cork) 87+ points

This has mellowed some from the last bottle opened in 2020 and drinking well right now. This has enough tannin to keep for longer.
