Tasted by the glass. Well made and enjoyable enough, but lacked the typicity I was craving. Loads of tart acidity, and no honeyed nuance. Matched well with food, and developed some attractive aromatics as it warmed.

Found this wine at a French Restaurant in Paso Robles. It is a great food white but also is nice alone. The fruit is solid and the acidity is pretty high... for me it "cuts" through the pallet with food, so they both taste better.

Really tart, lively palate...lots of malic acid still. Aromas of lemon and lanolin on the nose...fairly restrained overall though.

Chenin Blanc Flight-Mostly Loire (SF Wine Trading Company): High toned, floral nose. Medium weight and texture-slightly meager for Vouvray. More tendre than truly sec. Tart citrus and soil finish, not as clean and pure as I'd like.

Loire Valley Whites Run Wild (Prince Sydney, 40 Hansard Street): slight wild ferment, lemon, slight bees wax and honey notes. Apple, citrus, sharp but not unpleasant so. Some front of mouth grip as well. Nice.
