paler and the bronziest of the bunch – classic nose, intense blackberry jam, tar, floral, saffron, pollen – big in the mouth still with some tannin to burn, slightly low acidity, mint and tarragon tinged cherry and orange rind fruit in the mouth, finish is a touch tough at first but smoothes out and lengthens with airing, turns tarrier and really developes a citrussy lemon verbena/dried citrus peel top note, fleshes out wonderfully with air. CdP at peak and the best of the bunch tonight
