Good muscadet. On the one hand it's remarkably fresh for a 10-year-old white wine. On the other, I'm not sure it's particularly gone anywhere or improved, or ever will. Great acididy slices through grilled sardines. And nice oystershell notes - it would match oysters very well. But not sure I'll age this so much in future. That said, I think I have a bottle or two more and may keep one to see what happens.

30 months sur lie, 80yo vines. The wine shows bright crystal clear yellow straw colour. The wine shows "proper" Muscadet profile, smokey, citrus, grapefruit, lemon and lime notes, sur lie notes. In the palate the wine is smoother than expected, nice firm acidity, mineral, smokey again, citrus, grapefruit, medium body, mineral, long finish. Great quality for price, punching way above its weight (in money) and still feeling quite fresh

Midweek drinking from Costco but just as with the 2013 vintage, this is stunning Muscadet and tremendous value. There's a real richness to this that reminds me of Chablis, albeit the flavour profile is different. I can see this continuing to age well for a few years.

Yellow in glass. Mineral, sharp, full, rich, good length, saline. Interesting. Good with a fish pie.
