Solid wine and, given its modest price, nearing bargain territory. Sweet red cherry lozenge flavors up front, lively acidity and quite a remarkable depth of flavor carried into a lengthy 30+ second finish. A good mid-week drink with overripe raspberry, spice and notes of both old and new wood.

Deep garnet, some brown ring, medium legs, some translucent. Vanilla, oak, red fruit, some dried cherry, some plum, caramel, some spices, some dried herbs, a little bit smoky. On the palate, cherry, raspberry, some plum, dark fruit, licorice, spices, some wet floor, medium high acidity, grip tannic, medium body, long finish, a little lack of fruit concentration. Still very young and complex for 10 year old crianza. Good for the value.

was surprised to see 2012 at costco in 2022 for $13. A little musty when first opened after 30 mins wine cleaned up. pretty bright for older wine. good value
