If you're lucky enough have any of this in your cellar run don't walk to drink it now. At the very least check the cork. This was a superb bottle with finish similar to a Cakebread Chard. Not bad considering the whopping $5.00 price. But the cork was a few months away from giving it up completely. No oak or strong butter overtones - but delightful to drink.

This is a fantastic QPR Chardonnay. The nose has sweet grapefruit, peach, and floral hints - very balanced, and you taste the same on the palette, but not overwhelmingly so. No fake oak that is common on many inexpensive chardonnays, and a very clean finish. With this much complex fruit, you typically get a palette-smacking sensation of over-ripe fruit at the very end of the finish, but not this one - not at all.

Really nice chard with grapefruit and other citrus notes on the nose and palate along with a some floral and melon tones. I wish I had more.
