I found this for $6 and bought a few. WA gave this 90 points. It is an equal blend of 20% Cabernet Sauvignon, Garnacha, Merlot, Temperanillo and Syrah. The Garnacha vines being the oldest at 60 years. This was a reddish garnet color. The nose was filled with aromas of raw meat. On the palate there were flavors of beef blood, soy, leather and deep black fruit. 89 points.

Very tannic at first, then softened up a bit to show off some earth and red berries. Medium body complimented grilled pork. Not all bad, but there are better Spanish reds out there for the price.

Initial out of the bottle bouquet was musty and over-sweet however after about 5 minutes of breathing that all disipated and it turned out to be a pretty balanced representation of the region. Slightly tannic but for those who enjoy it definitely a nice bottle for the price.

I'm not sure if I should've waited a year before trying this, or let it aerate more, or what, but it was pretty tannic. Not bad, but it didn't seem to live up to my expectations. Very tanninc, or what another user called "astringent".

I picked this up on a whim, I think it was written up at K&L. Turned out to be pretty weak and astringent. Not my cup of tea as it were.
