Lime zest, fresh lime and lemon juice, guava, limestone, fresh cut dry grass, and alkaline. Nicely balanced energy on the front end, with a mid-palate texture that is both lively and silky. The lime dominates throughout most of the profile. A slight metallic 9V battery note appears on the tail end, biting back at the otherwise would-be seamless delivery.
This Grieve reminded me a bit of a stepped-down version of an Arkenstone SB with its unique lime and grass notes (but for the alkaline note on the Grieve). Drink now.
