  Tuscan with some hints of Bordeaux thrown in. Quite earthy tasting with some hints of spice. A bit disjointed.

  Pretty average. Too much acid and tannin not enough fruit. Even with a long decant nothing of interest was revealed. I don't think ageing will help either sadly so this wine is what it is.

  In questo caso il naso sembra un po’ troppo evoluto, l’amarena macerata, la mora fresca risalta sopra ad un sottofondo di di frutta evoluta, ingentilito da note floreali di lavanda e viola. Al palato freschezza un po’ sopra le righe, struttura che c’è, ma il tutto lascia una sensazione un poco disarmonica, come se i pezzi non combaciassero. Forse una bottiglia non perfetta. Certamente diversa dalla precedente.

  Good Tuscan if you give it plenty of air. One bottle was opened on Thursday night and revisited on Sunday night which is when it was at it's best.

  Aperto e servito. Naso inizialmente piuttosto schivo, non molto attraente, senza particolare grazia. Dopo circa un’ora, con una buona permanenza nei calici, si impreziosisce di sentori classici di frutti di bosco rossi e neri, di amarene polpose, che però non appesantiscono, grazie anche a note di erbe aromatiche, e vegetali in genere (sottobosco anche terroso), oltre ad un sottofondo piacevolmente minerale.
  Al palato, fresco, e con tannini ben polimerizzati, abbastanza equilibrato su struttura media, con finale di lunghezza adeguata.
  Sicuramente consiglio un’apertura anticipata. Da aprire ora o attendere fino ad una decina d’anni circa.
