German Riesling (Five Way Cellars, Paddington): toasted honey notes, a little apple; both ripe red and crisp green. Medium plus intensity acidity, green and red apple, soft texture slightly almost herbaceous notes, touch of slate, very nice indeed.

Apple, grapefruit and lemon in the taste, a bit saline, with good acidity and minerality. Rather refined-rich but nevertheless a true to type Saar-riesling. An excellent, harmonious wine. Ready to be drunk, but might also be cellared for some years, I guess. 91.

Medium straw golden colour. Citrus, apple and peach are joined by a fire stone aspect, with good, juicy acidity and good length. Medium-bodied and well-balanced. Good concentration and minerality in the context of the price. Has improved over the last two years. Drink or hold.

From IMPERIAL: just after our todays match at our homeground we faced our winebar revival, on of our Riesling-aficionados-group ran a winbar at the St. Pauli zone some years ago, what a cork! way too young, I suppose because the bottle is that big and less air mature the wine, round, stonefruit, creamy balance, quiet long, **-(***)

The fastest bottle ever in my wine life! PnP after the disastrous Derby at our home ground, no spirit, no fight of our team, no yellow cards to show their good will, hate that! The bottle was as always tasty and full of stonefuit and some more and other yellow fruit, but today consuming is only for helping this match to forget! But this young men, so called professional football players, I won´t forget their names to blame for this!
