  • Last tasted two years ago. Really really similar impressions, to my delight. It has gained in weight a bit. But the purity and transparency remain. Balanced acidity this time around. Really enjoyed and could hold several more years easily.

  • This was PnP at a restaurant, paired with a variety of diverse and strongly flavored foods; which was perhaps not the best approach as the wine was too delicate for many of its mates.

Clean linen on the nose, with sea spray, modest acids and notes of pear and white peach. It's quite elegant, with good minerals, but understated, none too aggressive, and if a complaint could be levied.. a tad dilute. The bottle was very sound and could be held many more years to see if it gains, but the acidity might be the limiting factor

  • Appearance: Bright and clear, the wine is of light lemon colour, with wide watery rim and legs.
Nose: Clean, with medium (-) intensity aromas of citrus fruit of lemon and lime, green fruit of green apple, floral notes of acacia, mineral notes of steely, kernel notes of almond, dairy notes of cream. The wine is youthful.
Palate: Dry with high acidity, the wine has medium alcohol, medium (-) body, with medium flavours of black fruit of citrus fruit of lemon and lime, green fruit of green apple, floral notes of acacia, mineral notes of stony, kernel notes of almond. The wine has a medium (+) finish.
Conclusion: Very good quality Chablis but at this stage only showing reasonable complexity, the wine has a nice acidity, full of freshness and vibrancy, rich on the palate with nice concentration and also having a rather long finish. It is too young to drink now and would benefit from further ageing of another 3-5 years.
