Big tart red cherry out of the gate. Kids thought it was New World. Opened up nicely over a couple of hours. The fruit mellowed and was supplemented by earth, metal, and forest floor. Solid acid backbone and structure. Really delicious. Over-delivered versus expectations.

Astoundingly excellent red burg at a great price. Always on the lookout for these little gems. A bit more reticent than the lovely Le Haut Colombier, but more structure and depth too, with some spice notes, ripe fraise des bois, clean earthy terroir, very long actually and good concentration. Great at under $40. Skurnik tasting

Tart cherries. Supple tannins. Long finish.
