  • I can see why previous notes were harsh (82 points - earlier vintage), but at the end of the meal with a lovely dessert that didn't need much support in the wine category this worked just fine. The wine pairing suggestion at Buca for their Fritelle Fragola which was a buffalo ricotta fritter with ontario strawberry and zabaglione. This wine may as well have been made for the dish. It was light and sweet and easy to drink and just hints of some more citrus flavors that worked well with the strawberry. I was a fan.
