  • This medium to deep purple Rioja provided big earthy notes of forest floor, & mushrooms along with notes of oak & cherry. This was an incredibly balanced wine with little to no tannins with a smooth silky finish with no aftertaste that absolutely married perfectly with the filet mignon we had with it. This wine did change after it was exposed to air as it developed hints of sweetness towards the end of the bottle. An absolute treat for under $20 that is in its prime that I would definitely purchase in the future & recommend to others.

  • Had this wine as part of a dinner party with friends where we did a 4 bottle blind taste test. This was by far the best wine of the night. This wine is ruby colored to the eyes with medium legs. To the nose it was woody but to taste was earthy/mushroom, with hints of blackberry and oak. The body is light/medium. The wine finishes short. Very enjoyable wine would highly recommend.
