  Tasted at the winery. This wine is made from Clones 115 and 777, whole cluster fermented and aged in neutral oak. It is a transparent light to medium ruby color with rose petals and cherry on the nose. The wine is fairly smooth on the palate and fairly fruit forward with low to medium tannins and low acidity. The palate reflects the nose and has some red plum as well. This strikes me as an earlier drinker than the other wines we tasted there today. Some may like it better as it is more fruit forward but I prefer the higher acidity wines with more backbone for aging.
