Light reduction, sexy wood, cherry and herbs/spice on the nose. Palate started fairly lean, but filled out quickly with tons of sweet cherry and hints of spice.
Is this the best "Bourgogne" I've ever had? Might be.

Brighter than my last bottle - this is getting expressive but still could use time. Such pretty red cherries, raspberries on the nose, with spiced tea, black pepper, tomato leaf, tilled soil. Tangy and fresh on the palate with dusty tannins and pretty cherries and raspberry fruit. Lots of herbal, spice, earth tones start to come out (especially on day two) and there's this mineral, rocky underlying aspect that is really attractive. Such an insane value Burg.

Quite an austere, predominantly mineral wine on nose and palate at present, with time in the glass subtle dark cherries, pomegranate, spice, smoke. Moderate tannin and high acidity. Very little shift compared to my last taste 2 years ago. Patience required.

Closed. Apart from a drying astringent tannin and some muted dark red fruits, nothing much emerged over 5 hours...
