  • This bottle (screw cap) had a little too much sediment. It still has big fruit but does not have lingering aftertaste. The next day I reconsider, the wine is still fruity but has opened up. After 5 years the Blend Grenache, Mourvedre and Syrah still has a great pulse. I was wrong, this wine has structure, I did not let it open up on initial opening. Naivete. This is big wine but not wonderful. The aftertaste in lingering on the second day(20 seconds ?). I am a Syncline devotee and intially thought that I had missed this wine. It is 14.3% and it still has a character, I upgrade my rating from 87 to a 91.

  • Ripe, alcoholic. No real varietal personality, just "red wine". Pretty harmless, slurpable. I would rather drink a wine from the Rhone valley though rather than a WA-state knockoff.

  • This is syncline's od 2 southern rhone & what will be there flagship wine. After all the talk bout this winery I had 2 pop some more!

Color - lighter ruby red guess more grenache in this gms blend.
Nose - god I luv this smell!!! Earthy green notes, getting a distinct green bean. I luv it! A lil dirt 2
Palate - green bean carried 2 the 1st palate followed by raspberry. Nice vibrant mouthfeel. I lil got heat on the finish. Getting a lil pepper on the finish 2.

Gonna let it open up some more & w/add notes.

Oh yeah it was $33.99 @ NW fresh yokes.

  • Very good, Washington GSM blend. Lovely raspberry notes.

  • A very interesting wine - highly concentrated raspberry and blackberry fruit with a long, long finish. There seemed to be some very interesting rhone characteristics in this wine but they were all buried deep beneath the huge candied fruit. Powerful and powerfully out of balance. This is a wine maker that I have learned to respect so perhaps this wine will calm down and integrate with time in the bottle.
