  Quick good now I know what this is adding to other blended wines. It is the syrah like spicy but so smooth with tannins dark deep plum cassis boysenberry. Slightly sour and feels like a deep dark syrah with cab notes. So if cab and syrah had a baby this would be it. It is deep dark brooding. Serious wine.

  Lovely cab franc. I don’t like cab franc as a type of wine. This is my first bottle. Chimney Rock makes a lovely cab franc if that is your style of wine. It is less tannic than cab Sauvignon and has rounded notes. Deep purple violet notes. Short fruit notes. Served chilled and aerated. Seems like it would cellar for 7 years.
