The other tasting notes hit all the high points. Really good QPR. Not the best wine but for the price it is very good. Not a wine that will impress your friends, but very solid and certainly an enjoyable bottle.

Decanted for 45 mins (could have been longer). Nose of bramble, a bit of forest floor and saddle leather. Palette has a blend of mixed berries and some kirsch. Long finish and we’ll balanced. Great QPR for a $16 last bottle. Served with a rib eye over a ragù of candelini bean and wild mushroom. Really nice wine for the money and certainly has legs for four or five more years properly cellared. Should improve over the next one/two years and then hold for another three or four.

Decanted for 2 hours. Deep ruby color. Aromas of tobacco and leather on the nose. The palate shows black currant, black plum, black pepper, cigar box, and herbs. Full bodied and dry. Paired well with NY Strip. Alcohol medium, acid medium, tannins medium+ Great QPR for around $15.

Great qpr for $20. 4 hr slow ox. Notes of creme brulee and butterscotch at first which was surprising. Dark fruit, everything in a good place. A bit linear but definitely not complaining for the price. Will follow for 2 more days and see how it progresses

This is an excellent Bordeaux blend, and at under $17, a superior example.
