  One of three champagnes that we tried at the quite excellent Tresors de Champagne in Reims, one of the few places where you can avoid the major houses and the obligatory tours and simply taste champagne. They work with a number of smaller producers and the three we tried were all excellent - and excellent value for money. This is a pinot noir:chardonnay blend (60:40). Rich and full-bodied, bracing acidity, oozing citrus, mouth-filling. Very good.
