Not exactly sure how to review a semi-sweet blend from Leelanau. 50% Northern Michigan Pinot Grigio and 50% Chardonnay from Washington State. It does not taste very sweet. It does have the viscosity of an off dry wine. Really dark golden color. Some oak barrel fermentation which is evident on the nose and finish. Can taste some Granny Smith apple crisp acidity. The welcome richness on the roof of the mouth is more than just sweetness. Mature apple and citrus fruit. Lingering orange marmalade and apricot on the finish.
