  Cloudy shaded gold. Funky, yeasty, slight overripe tangerine and then carambola on the nose. All marmalade on the palate, a medium body orange.

  Deep golden in the glass, showing a bit of haze. If you didn't tell people this was an orange wine, nobody would assume it. Fragrant, loads of florals and tropicana on the nose. Medium-bodied, packing some nice texture. Bottle variation is huge on this vintage - one bottle can be outstanding, the next one boring as shit. Unfortunately, the batch that I kept tasting for the past few weeks was the latter. Lacks depth and length - the acidity and the intensity die down midway through drinking. Would like to progress to newer vintages, this one wasn't highly impressive.

  Fragrant, juicy amber wine. Cloudy. Some sediment. Smells of lilacs, elderflower, and orange oil. Slight VA lifting it but it doesn’t bother me. Shows the candied-grape and thiols of Muscat with the citrus and soapiness of warm-climate Riesling. The palate is both weighty, slippery, yet is juicy and taut with ample acid. The tang of volatility is felt on the palate too but again I don’t mind it in this context. Lovely to drink, a treasure to see a skin-contact white wine with such balance and texture in check. Good chilled and fine as it warms up too. Food friendly. Ticks all the boxes for me.
