(Day 3) - color: medium ruby; nose: raspberry, cherry, vanilla; taste: medium-bodied mouth feel, red fruit (almost jammy!), medium acidity, medium tannins, alcohol and finish, notes of dark chocolate; overall: a flavorful beverage, but not at all what I think of as a PN -- it's super fruit juicy and is short on the herbal or herbacious flavors and textures that I expect. Probably pairs well with duck breast or grilled pork tenderloin.

Despite this violating one of my cardinal rules of never drinking a wine with either the name of an animal or a picture of an animal on the label, it is surprisingly nice. For sure, very New World with gobs of extracted fruit and about as much subtlety as a Marvel action movie, but there is no denying this give pleasure and is carefully made. Really like the black pepper and Coca cola elements. For me this is not recognizable as what I think of as pinot noir, but you have to not compare this to a Burgundy. On a Wednesday night with wood-grilled king salmon and red pepper pesto pasta, I am all smiles.

Medium ruby color with vanilla and cherry aromas. Cherry cola flavors with lots of fruit. Paired well with pork loin.
