Not much to say here. This was a typical Merlot based Bordeaux that drank in its price point of around $15. Plenty of ripe cherry, a touch of pepper, hint of oak, and a bit of leather as the finish begins and ends very quickly. Don't expect more than what it is, and if you have this enjoy it now. Cheers

Château La Grange Clinet 2015 is a blend of 68% Merlot, 17% Cabernet Sauvignon & 15% Cabernet Franc. The color is brick red, the beginning of evolution is visible in the glass. It is very beautiful. The nose is characteristic of Bordeaux wines but with a feminine note of a great smoothness. Identical to the sweet neck of a beautiful young woman. Blackberries, plums, some strawberries, a hint of violet & liquorice, a little vanilla to remind us the aging in oak barrels (French and American oak). Very nice and totally captivating nose! On the palate, the ripe fruits give to the attack a nice sweetness. The mid-palate is very expressive and juicy. Not very powerful but well balanced. The body is light+, the tannins are melted. Maybe a little bit of material is missing? Nothing serious, it's just a detail. The acidity is precisely measured and the guests immediately notice the beautiful freshness that emerges. Let's also talk about the persistence: nice bitter, black fruits and some toasted notes perfume the mouth for long seconds. Beautiful bottle, superb value for money. Must be recommended! 88pts. I'm plagiarizing Pupae's note below: "not much nose.sweetness, vanilla, pencil shavings on the finish..... drink now" ... disappointed because I gave a previous bottle a 90 a year or so ago. It's clearly going downhill fast. I didn't have any problem downing it (over 2 nights) but glad I have only 1 bottle left - might end up cooking with it.

Mais para simples e menos estruturado, mas interessante. Frutado: morango, amoras. Leve couro queimado.
