  • With all the hype surrounding the "new home of the great Burgundy varietal" this Languedoc effort leaves much to be desired.
Red fruits on the timid and rather indistinct nose lead to that same qualities on the palate which is emphasized by watery shortish finish. The acids are well balanced and the alcohol is quite low which makes me suspect they did add water in an attempt to give the wine more lightness and elegance.

Certainly a wine of acceptable quality at best.
