  Clear deep ruby/violet; clean medium plus nose of green pepper, jammy cassis, savoury herbs, floral and black pepper; dry; medium plus acidity; medium plus tannins; medium plus alcohol; medium plus body; medium plus flavour intensity; palate doesn’t have a big fruit payoff but has pronounced black pepper and cocoa; medium plus finish; drink now or in a few years; great wine - much better than the last bottle

  Clear deep ruby; clean medium minus nose of cassis, cedar, red plums and red cherries; dry; medium plus acidity; medium tannins; high alcohol; medium body; medium flavour intensity; pfn with hint of cocoa; medium finish; good quality; drink now; starting to fade - it was much better a year ago
