Revisited again. Certainly exotic and definitely overpowers Burgundies in the same price range. Raspberry preserves with lingering acidity in the finish — a welcome option to the fat, overextracted, sometimes sweet, soft Pinots that are in vogue today.
(2/7/2021) Quintessential Oregon Pinot of the more intense persuasion. Great color, balanced Pinot nose and flavors, juggling fruit, oak and acidity. Drink now to enjoy its still youthful exuberance or set aside for a few more years.

Let it breath and it will sing. A bit simple at first but the nose and palate will evolve if you give it time.

Nice velvety structure but average on the nose. My wife loved it.

8 months, 25% new French oak
Nose of barnyard, earth, developing hints of cherry
Smooth tannins, long cherry acidity, firm soft fruit
Not bad at all
