-- tasted a single glass non-blind over approx. 15 - 20 minutes --
Golden yellow color of medium to medium-deep depth. Nose is dominated by oak and strong buttery Chardonnay aromas. Medium to medium-full bodied on the palate, which follows from the Nose with its strong, buttery, and ripe typical Chard. flavors. It appears age has started to relax this wine a bit, as it's devoid of any tension. 13.5% alc. is not noticeable. Good-not-great, to my palate. I preferred the more elegant '06 to this '05. This is a well-made wine, it's just not my style. Gut impression score: mid 80's.

pale lemon; nose of lemon, apple, butter, some oak and caramel, touch spiky/spicy; good acidity (tad spiky?), good weight and length, not quite as interesting as I remember - where's the veg/funk?

balanced wine with just the right amount of oak......vanilla and lemon on the nose and apple and citrus flavors. An enjoyable wine that goes well by itself or with lighter food

Preferred this to the Clos Du Bois in a side by side taste. Very fresh fruit flavors. Balanced with oak in the background. would buy again.
